We love exploring how nature works! Our passion is figuring out how to take brilliant biological systems, like the way life naturally optimizes itself and creates zero waste, and turn those ideas into potential blueprints for industry. This is where biomimicry systems and strategy come into play, by providing innovative solutions inspired by nature.

Are you curious about our solutions? You can find all the details on our blog posts below! We share deep dives examining the future of materials and reliable supply chains.

Our Mission: blueprints from nature

Biomimicry systems and strategy guide us as we share our detailed hypotheses and insights and tackle the hard choices. We imagine the steps to build continuous bio-factory systems.

Redesigning systems

Our biggest focus is redesigning production systems. Ultimately, this could be the key to getting bio-materials to reach scale and efficiency. The old industrial model seems to be failing us, so biomimicry systems and strategy offer an alternative. That linear, brute-force approach seems to be costly, fragile and totally outdated. As such, we believe nature holds the answers to designing truly resilient, restorative systems.

Case studies and key challenges

We treat this work as inspiration. Ultimately, we see living organisms as conceptual models. We will explore the Manta Ray’s revolutionizing anti-clogging vortex. How the Beetle Shell’s chiral layers can inspire ultra-light, impact-resistant packaging. Biomimicry systems and strategy help us ask, “How can we engineer this for human benefit?”

We will look at key challenges. How do we shift mindsets from “take-make-dispose” to a closed-loop metabolism? How do we use AI-driven self-correction to eliminate factory inconsistency, just like a fungal network manages its own growth? These are some of the questions that will define the next decade of innovation.
